This policy applies to spinediamond.com, operated by ISHPRARA 24, a partnership firm registered in Surat, Gujarat, India. Spine Diamond is a brand of ISHPRARA 24. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean ISHPRARA 24.

We trade loose polished diamonds with businesses. This website shows our price list and lets you put together a quotation request. It does not sell anything, and it collects very little.

The short version

  • You send your quotation request yourself, by WhatsApp or by email. The website does not store it.
  • The website takes no payments and has no buyer accounts.
  • There are no analytics, advertising or social media trackers on the website, and visitors get no cookies.
  • We do not sell or rent personal information to anyone.

What we collect

Your quotation request

The quotation form asks for:

  • your name, company, country and email address, and optionally your phone number;
  • the diamonds you are looking for: natural or lab-grown, shape, size, clarity, colour and quantity for each parcel;
  • anything else you choose to write under “Additional requirements”.

When you press Send on WhatsApp or Send by email, the website writes your request into a message and opens WhatsApp or your own email app with it. You see the message and send it yourself. The form itself does not send anything to our server.

While you fill in the form, it keeps a draft in your own browser (in “local storage”), so nothing is lost if you leave the page. The draft stays on your device until you press Clear form or clear this site’s data in your browser. We cannot see it.

When you contact us directly

If you message, call or email us, we receive what you send and the number or address you send it from. The same applies to anything you share with us later, such as delivery or invoicing details for an order.

The admin area

The website has a private admin area that only our own staff use, to update prices and page text. For it we keep an admin username and a scrambled (hashed) password, and a sign-in cookie while staff are signed in. To protect the sign-in page from guessing, we record the internet (IP) address of each failed sign-in attempt and delete these records after one day.

Technical logs

Like any website, our hosting provider records basic technical details of each visit, such as IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time, in order to run and protect the service. We do not use these logs to profile visitors.

How your enquiry reaches us

If you send your request by WhatsApp, it travels through WhatsApp, a service of Meta, under WhatsApp’s own terms and privacy policy. If you send it by email, it travels through your email provider and ours. In both cases we then hold it in our WhatsApp account or our mailbox.

How we use it

We use your information only to:

  • answer your enquiry and prepare a quotation;
  • arrange, invoice and deliver any order that follows;
  • keep the business records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices.

What we do not do

  • No payments on the website. Orders are confirmed and invoiced separately.
  • No buyer accounts. There is nothing to sign up for, and no login for buyers.
  • No tracking. No analytics, advertising pixels, social media plugins or similar trackers run on the website.
  • No selling of data. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information.

Cookies and similar technologies

Visitors get no cookies from this website. The only cookie it ever sets is the sign-in cookie of the admin area, which only our staff receive when they sign in. The quotation draft described above is kept in your browser’s local storage, not in a cookie, and never leaves your device unless you send it.

The website’s fonts and images are served from our own site, not from third parties. Links such as “Open in Google Maps” or WhatsApp take you to those services only when you click them.

Who else handles data

  • Vercel hosts the website and keeps the technical logs described above.
  • Neon hosts the website’s database: the price list, page text and the admin records above. Quotation requests are not stored in it.
  • Cloudflare manages our domain name records.
  • WhatsApp (Meta) and email providers carry the messages you choose to send us.

These providers may process data on servers outside India.

How long we keep it

  • Enquiries and correspondence: as long as we need them to answer you and handle any business that follows, and as long as the law requires us to keep business records such as invoices.
  • Failed admin sign-in records: one day.
  • The quotation draft: on your own device, until you clear it.
  • Technical logs: for the period our hosting provider keeps them.

A copy of your data, corrections and deletion

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. These rights include those under India’s Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023. Contact us using the details below and tell us what you would like. We may ask you to confirm who you are first. If we have to keep something, for example an invoice the law requires us to keep, we will tell you what and why.
